Guest Policies for Flesk River Apartments

To ensure a comfortable and safe experience for all guests, we ask that you familiarise yourself with the following policies and procedures during your stay at Flesk River Apartments.

Fire Safety and Emergency Procedures

Guests must familiarise themselves with the fire safety procedures and comply immediately with any fire or safety drills, alarms, and instructions. The safety of all guests is our top priority.

Pet Policy

Flesk River Apartments is a dog-friendly accommodation, and we are pleased to welcome your four-legged companion in our designated pet-friendly apartments. To ensure the comfort and safety of all guests, we kindly ask that you review the following policy:

  1. One house-trained dog (max 15–20kg) is permitted per apartment.
  2. Cats and other animals are not permitted.
  3. Pet-friendly apartments must be booked in advance by contacting our Reservations Team.
  4. A one-time fee of €50 per stay applies. A dog bed and bowl will be provided.
  5. Dogs must be kept on a lead or in a carrier when in public areas.
  6. Dogs are not allowed in bedrooms and must never be left unattended in the apartment.
  7. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dog and liable for any damage caused.
  8. Please ensure your dog is well-behaved and does not disturb other guests during your stay.

For the comfort and safety of all guests and staff – including those with allergies or a fear of dogs – we sincerely appreciate your cooperation.

Registered service dogs are welcome throughout the property.

Visitor Policy

Only registered guests are permitted in the apartments. Visitors may only access common areas for brief periods, and they must be accompanied by a registered guest at all times. Unregistered overnight visitors are not allowed. As the registered guest, you are responsible for your visitors at all times.

Smoking Policy

Flesk River Apartments maintains a no smoking policy in all of our apartments and enclosed public areas. Smoking is strictly prohibited within the property. We kindly ask guests to respect this rule.

Guest Behaviour

Guests are expected to behave in a respectful and appropriate manner, showing consideration for fellow guests, staff, and the property itself. We kindly ask that guests avoid any behaviour that could disturb others. For those using The Brehon Hotel & Spa, guests are permitted to travel between the spa and their apartment in robes and slippers.

Quiet Hours

Quiet hours are in effect from 10pm to 8am. During these hours, we ask that guests be particularly considerate and refrain from any conduct that could disturb others in the area.

Unsupervised Children

Anyone under the age of 18 is not considered an adult. Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Children are not permitted in the Anú Spa, Vitality Suite, or Fitness Suite at The Brehon Hotel & Spa.

Respect for Others

We have a zero-tolerance policy for any physical or verbal threats, harassment, or abuse towards staff, guests, or anyone on the property. Any disruptive, abusive, or unlawful behaviour will not be tolerated. Guests behaving in an unacceptable manner may be asked to leave without a refund.

Lost or Stolen Items

Guests should take proper care with their personal items. Flesk River Apartments is not responsible for any theft, loss, or damage to personal property. Any lost items will be turned in to the Front Desk. Lost items can be returned at the owner’s expense.

Fire Alarms

Fire alarms are for true emergencies only. Any fire alarm will be investigated by the fire department. The cost of responding to a false alarm will be charged to the person(s) responsible or their parents.

Photography and Videography

Guests are not permitted to use photographs or videos taken at Flesk River Apartments for commercial or public purposes without prior consent. Doing so is illegal, and violators may face prosecution.

Damage to Property

Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property or its contents during their stay. Any missing items or damages will be charged at the replacement cost.

Dress Code

Guests are expected to be appropriately dressed at all times when in public areas, including the restaurant and bar at The Brehon Hotel & Spa. Pyjamas and slippers are not permitted in public areas, except in the spa and pool areas, where guests are permitted to wear swimwear and robes if availing of the service.

Disruptive or Unlawful Behaviour

Any disruptive, unlawful, or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated. Guests displaying unacceptable behaviour may be asked to leave without a refund.
